THE PURPOSE

What this service is for

Turn your manuscript into a readable book interior. We plan the layout for your chosen formats, so typography, spacing, chapter openings and front matter work together.

What we can work on

  • Ebook and Kindle formatting with navigation and a table of contents appropriate to the content
  • Paperback and hardcover interior layouts at the agreed trim size
  • Front matter, chapter styles, page numbering and image placement
  • Print-ready interior PDFs and ebook-ready files in the agreed formats
  • KDP-ready file preparation, agreed revisions and a clear handover

What to share

Share your manuscript, word count, illustrations or tables, chosen formats and publication plans. We will confirm file types, trim size and any special layout requirements. Editing and new illustrations are separate services.

Connect the right support

A readable interior is one part of the finished book. Pair it with Book Cover Design, then agree any account setup or upload work separately through Publishing Support.

Where this service fits the GRANT Framework:

A: Align the listing and presentation.

Readable interiors and appropriately prepared files support the book’s presentation. The agreed formats and file deliverables define the scope.

For an unpublished book, tell us its stage, intended formats and the support you need. An Amazon link is optional for this project enquiry.

Discuss book formatting

Before you begin

Do you work with Kindle, paperback and hardcover?

Yes. Formatting, cover preparation and publishing support can cover these formats within the agreed scope. Each edition has its own file and specification requirements.

How many revisions are included?

The proposal or project agreement states the number and type of revisions included. A major change in manuscript, format or approved direction may require a revised scope.
