THE PURPOSE

What this service is for

Give your book a considered visual presentation. We work on the cover concept, typography and layout, with the genre, reader and edition specifications in view.

What we can work on

  • Cover direction and ebook front cover design
  • Paperback and hardcover wraps within the agreed specifications
  • Title, author name, spine and back cover presentation
  • Genre positioning and title readability at thumbnail size
  • Print preparation to the agreed KDP or printer specifications, final files and revisions

What to share

Share your title, author name, genre, synopsis, references and any artwork you already have. Print covers need confirmed trim size, paper specifications and page count. Illustration creation and image licensing are included only when agreed.

Connect the right support

The cover and interior should work together. Book Formatting prepares the reading experience; Publishing Support covers agreed preparation and account work beyond design delivery.

Where this service fits the GRANT Framework:

A: Align the listing and presentation.

The cover communicates the book visually and prepares its agreed ebook or print formats. Design delivery does not automatically include publishing or advertising.

For an unpublished book, tell us its stage, intended formats and the support you need. An Amazon link is optional for this project enquiry.

Discuss cover design

Before you begin

How many revisions are included?

The proposal or project agreement states the number and type of revisions included. A major change in manuscript, format or approved direction may require a revised scope.

Do you work with Kindle, paperback and hardcover?

Yes. Formatting, cover preparation and publishing support can cover these formats within the agreed scope. Each edition has its own file and specification requirements.
